Poor George. He's never seen any movies. Rather than mourn their dear friend, Travis and Dan have taken it upon themselves to show him what he is missing. But they don't stop at showing him famous movies! They also help George to understand how each film fits into the Great Narrative of Film. Not only THAT the film of the week is significant, but WHY and HOW. Also, they make jokes and stuff.

Guitars. Music. Improv Comedy. Stonehenge. This is Spinal Tap is the perfect movie to celebrate our 100th Episode with special guest Richard Oliver from The Chasing Tone Podcast and Wampler Pedals. George and Travis are both seeing this one for the first time, and if that isn't justification for doing this show we can't imagine what is.
Will George see the value in the 1959 Les Paul that sustains for literal weeks? Or will he stick with his preferred Boomer Guitar: The Gibson SG? Will Travis feel at home in the improv despite the black leather, chains, whips, dog collars and violins? Does Richard, an Englishman himself, approve of the accents? Did Dan just hot-take Metallica's mainstream turn into oblivion?
